PLACES
Where I've been, and why that matters.

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
I booked a one-way ticket out of Los Angeles to Stockholm to travel by myself all around Europe. And as anyone with a Jewish mother knows, this was a way more difficult endeavor than just Eat, Pray, Love -ing it around the world.

KELTON AVE
I lived in my first apartment on Kelton Ave, drank copious wine with my roommates (only sometimes out of a box), and had a giant tree nearly destroy my apartment. Good times.

ACKERMAN GRAND BALLROOM
Ah, the beautiful, sometimes glorified cafeteria looking AGB, where I sat through over 100 film screenings with UCLA Campus Events Commission.

Also, one time it became a disco themed roller rink, but that's probably another story for a different day.

CORK AND TAP
Appropriately known as "The Ralph's Bar" because it is indeed located in the grocery store chain right next to campus. The novelty and people watching opportunities alone made it a worthwhile experience, but also $4 craft beer flights. I REPEAT, $4 CRAFT BEER FLIGHTS.

ROSE BOWL
More than just overpriced burritos and the stadium where UCLA plays football, the Rose Bowl is where I truly fell in love with my future university for the first time, standing in the pouring rain as a senior in high school and watching UCLA beat USC.

LA TOMATINA
A yearly festival in a small town in Spain involving a giant tomato fight initiated when someone climbs up a two story, greased up wooden pole and retrieves a ham at the top of it. This has been at the very top of my bucket list since the second I read about it, for obvious reasons.

SEAL BEACH PIER
Home of Sweet Jill's cinnamon rolls and Nick's breakfast burritos, no further explanation needed.

JANSS STEPS
The prime location at UCLA for a picnic, hammock, or nap, Janss Steps is also where I ice blocked with friends that would become my Freshman year family. P.S. iceblocking is taking a giant block of ice and gliding down a hill until you eventually wipe out in less than graceful fashion. It's more fun than it sounds, promise.
